Keith
Lewis of West Park, OH drives the #07 in the Modified Class at Lorain Speedway.
He has been racing in this class for 2 years. His sponsors
include West Side Metals, Kirk Battery, Allied Lift Truck, and Ellis Race
Cars. He raced in the Spectator Stock Class at Cloverleaf, and was
a member of the Airport Go Karts Racing League.
He finished the 2004 season with:
* 1475 total points
* 7th overall
* 3 top 5 finishes
* 11 top 10 finishes
* 15 heat and feature starts
* 3 heat wins
His favorite drivers include Terry Stineman Sr., Rusty Adams, Jeep Yachobuchi,
Sam Decapita, and Keith Kazmerik. Keith got interested in racing
in 1972 at Cloverleaf with his Grandpa. In April, 2004, Keith took
third place in his feature race, and finished in the top 10 of the points
race for the season. He thinks of these two occasions as his fondest
racing moments so far.
Keith has raced in Sandusky as well, but likes Lorain Speedway because
of the location, the purse, the fans, the friends, and the short track racing.
He would like to thank Bill Petrie, Steve and Sherie Ellis, and his
girlfriend Tammy.
