Alex Lloyd of Homerville,
OH, drives the #83 Modified at Lorain Speedway. Gary Vondriska is the
owner of the car, and it is sponsored by Town and Country Cleaning Services.
He finished the
2004 season with :
* 1080 total points * 6 top 10 finishes * 14 feature starts * 15 heat starts
This is Alex's first year
racing this class, but spent 10 years racing go karts. His brother
John Vondriska also races in this class.
Alex says him and his brother were watching go karting on television
as children and they both decided then and there that it was something they
just had to do.
He hopes to improve
his racing skills each week, and his favorite racing moment was in Barberton
when he raced against adult competitores and won the 50 lap race. He
was a track champion and the season points champion at Barberton as well.
He comes to Lorain each week because of the racing facility, the fans,
and the competitors.
Alex wants to
thank his parents, his brother, his sister, and his girlfriend.
