Jeff
Baker of Elyria, OH drives the #2 Grand National at Lorain Speedway. Baker

Jeff has been racing for 18 years, and at the young age of 13, he was on
many different pit crews including Gus Olexen, who won the Nationals at Sandusky
in 1983. He often has been behind the microphone at many speedways in
Northeastern Ohio as well. Jeff has had wins in such classes as sprints,
grand nationals, emods, late models, and many other types of cars. Jeff
says "If it has wheels, I have raced it!" : )
His favorite racing moment was his first win on a dirt track at Buckeye
Speedway in 1993 and his win at Winchester Speedway in 2000. Jeff's
favorite driver at the moment is
Tigh Shaffer,
who drives the #41 in the Grand National Class at Lorain Speedway, too. Jeff
recognizes Tigh's skill at such a young age and hopes to watch him succeed
even further in his racing pursuits.
Jeff wants to thank his dad, his wife Jen, and his two sons Dillon and Jacob,
along with all the Lorain Speedway fans that come out to support him every
week.
