Dan Fortney drives the
#99 in the Grand National Class at Lorain Speedway. The car is owned
by Jack and John Fortney, the people that got him interested in racing in
the first place. Dennis Tucker is also an owner of the car as well.
His sponsors include Home Heating and Plumbing, Lopez Market, Lorain Glass
Co. Inc. , and Lakeland Glass Company.
Dan has been racing
in this class for 2 years and looks up to fellow drivers Owen Parker and
Steve Dressler, while he accredits his mom and dad as his role models. His
racing goal is "to get in front of everyone else in the end!" He keeps
coming back to Lorain Speedway because of his team's desire to win and the
level of competition amongst the drivers.
