Jerry
Curtis drove the number #70/71 cars at Lorain Speedway.
He is from Elyria, Ohio and aslo participated in BMX and Three Wheeler racing.
His sponsors included A & E Drywall and JC Drywall Finishing.
A few of his family members used
to race at Lorain Speedway including Uncle Jimmy, Bobby, and Edward Curtis.
His racing goals included "winning
to survive" and he hopes to progress up to a higher racing class. His
favorite racing moment occured this season during the Race of Champions when
he joined Nascar drivers Bill Elliott, Sterling Marlin, Ken Schrader, and
Casey Mears helping to dry the light rain off the track.
He loves Lorain Speedway because
of its location and the other fellow drivers. He wants to thank Nascar, the
Lorain Speedway, A & E Drywall for sponsorship, and his kids for all
the time he can't spend with them because of working on the race cars.
