#58 Mark Allman

Mark Allman Sr. of Elyria, OH, drives the #58 Late Model at Lorain Speedway. Ted Allman Sr. owns the car, and his sponsors include his dad and Lucas Oil. He has been racing this class for one year, and used to race in the Sportsman class at Mansfield where he held the track record, and won six features as well. His brother Brian Allman occasionally races here as well.

Mark's favoirte drivers include Mark Marin and Bill Elliott. He got involved with racing by watching his father race for many years. He comes to Lorain to have fun and hopefully come home all in one piece!

His favorite racing moment occured in 1997 when he won his first feature in Ohio Stock. He likes racing at Lorain Speeday because of its location and plans on returning next season.
