Nick Chmara of Medina, OH drives the #29 Late Model at Lorain Speedway. He has been racing this class for 3 years and his sponsors include Carey Color Inc., Indy Equipment, Ohio State Waterproofing, Meccon Contractors, Matco Tools, and John Laskowski.

He once competed in Go-Kart Racing at Freemont, Sandusky, and Bellview before moving up to the Late Model Division. His cousin John Karl Jr. races here as well, as does Clayton Karl, and his uncle John Karl. His racing role models include Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

His greatest racing moment so far was making the Fast Dash during Lorain's 2004 Season. Eventually he would like to move up to a National Touring Series, but for the moment loves racing at Lorain Speedway because of the great competition on a tight and short track.
