#42 Tom Stankiewicz

Tom Stankiewicz of Strongsville, OH drives the #42 Late Model at Lorain Speedway. He has been racing in this class for the past 20 years and his sponsors include Custom Color and Collision Center, and Precision Welding Corporation. He got his start in racing in the parking lot drags, then worked his way through the Spectator Stock and the Sport Stock as well.

His favorite drivers include Mike Fontana, Tim Richmond, and Jimmy Johnson. He got involved with racing growing up too close to the Cloverleaf Speedway to keep his distance from the racing scene. His ultimate goal is to win a track championship, and as far as a weekly goal is concerned, he wants to win as many races as he can and leave the night with an unwrecked car!

He has won numerous races at Toledo, Midvale, and Painesville, but he keeps coming back to Lorain Speedway each week because of the competition and the friendships involved, plus it is close to home.
