Marty Kelly of Lorain, OH drove the #18 in 2004 and 2005.  He raced at Sandusky Speedway and Lorain Speedway in 2004, but ran exclusively at Lorain in 2005.  Marty has been in this class for four years, in addition to participating in Motorcross and Kayaks.  His sponsors included Top Notch Auto Recycling and Sheffield Automotive.


His favorite driver is Rick Groetch, and his favorite thing about racing is the adrenaline rush.  The first time he ran at Mansfield he was the fastest qualifier, won the dash, won the heat, and the feature!! And of course his favorite personal racing moment was his first feature win.

Marty's racing goal is to drive a good race ,and the fellow racers keep him coming back to Lorain each weekend. He wants to thank the Chapman Racing Team for all their help and support, and although he has retired from racing, he wishes all his fellow competitors the best of luck and safety...
