Stephanie
Rothacher of Elyria, OH drove her first races in 2005 at Lorain Speedway.
She was new to racing but has been a fan for many years. Her goal for 2005 was to finish at least half
of the races at Lorain, and hoped to make it to Midvale Speedway at least
once because that is where her husband's family live.
She was extremely happy that
she finally made the decision to "get off the bench" and find herself a
car. She definitely looked forward to racing at Lorain because of the
people at the track and the excitement of it all. Her favorite drivers
are Paul Shaffer and Tammy Smith.
Stephanie
wishes to thank her husband for all the help, encourangement, and support.
He also joined her
out on the track at Lorain in 2006, then when Lorain closed, they both headed
up to Sandusky Speedway and both had very successful seasons up there as
well. They plan on staying at Sandusky, where Stephanie is putting
together a Pure Stock, and Eugene has gotten a job as Tech Official.
