A fan of the Dave Chapelle Show, Rick James of Sutton, W.VA, drove
the #101 Charger at Lorain Speedway. He has been racing this class
since 2005, and has also participated in drag racing.
His greatest racing moment was going 165
mph in only 8 seconds at Norwalk Raceway Park. Rick has also raced
at West Salem, Thompson, and Florida locations like Gainseville, West Palm
Beach, Tampa Bay, Orlando and Newsamerna Beach.
His racing role models are the Andretties,
and his goal is to win the track championship in something other than a
Beretta or GM vehicle. He likes racing at Lorain because he feels
the short track will make him a better driver, and he also loves the large
pit area and the ease of exiting the track.
Rick would like to thank Kevin and Whitey
for all their help and looks forward to racing both here and at Sandusky.
